It has been almost 2 weeks since I released the GROW Tower and it
seemed a
bit calmer.
There are only 5 panels and I was afraid if this game would please
everybody.
But I'm happy now that many people seem to enjoy it.
And I'm very glad many people told me [worth the wait] even it took
a long
time before it released.
Just random thought but I want to ask players' feeling.
I think there are different feelings between a creator and a player.
So, which GROW game do you like the best?
I'm happy if you give an answer to the comment field.
may be... I think [CUBE] is the most poplar among players.
I really want to know the next mark and followings.
For me as a creator, I like [RPG] the best.
This game is a second one, but it is not the same organization
as the first
GROW.
I was intoxicated with my idea at that time.
If you don't play all the games, it's OK!
Please tell me the best one among the games which you had played.

Let's think about it.... For me the very best Grow game is th Island grow Game, I love it!

I liked the RPG game best. Tower and cube were good too, and the nano's were also good! I liked the first one least, there was no set goal.

It's hard to choose, but I think I like Grow Island the best, followed closely by Grow Cube. There are a lot of interactions between the different objects, and they all feel strangely logical once you get on the right track. But at the same time, swapping the order of two objects often had a big effect on the Grow, which could be misleading - that's why they make the best puzzles

Well, I loved RPG too.
I also liked cube, and tower. And I liked that one with the time, it was called chronon or something. But I guess that one doesn't count as grow...
I'll list them in order, sometime. Like, now. Yeah, now is alright. :P
RPG->Tower->Cube->Ver1->Island.
And I like all the rest too, but, just felt like listing those.

I liked Grow RPG the best... I like the complexity of it and the more story like aspect.

Each GROW is unique and lovable. But the thing I admire most about ON from the beginning is your unbounded imagination, designing creatures with no common sense! In this respect, I should say Ver.1 is my favorite! No rules! No limitations!

I've played all the grow games, and liked all of them. I loved the first grow when it came out (it is what introduced me to your site) but would say my favorite grow is either cube or RPG. In terms of the mini-grows, I really liked vol.3, but not so much vol.1/vol.0 because it didn't have any choices or different possible outcomes.

Ver.3 was definately the biggest challenge, and I really like it because of that. But my absolute favorite has to be CUBE. I really enjoyed that one the most.

I like grow cube the best, because I don't have to wait a long time to see the effect of the items I choose.
Please remember most of us have to try many different times to win, and sometimes it gets boring to wait after choosing for 1 minute and see the same thing again many times. For example in Grow Island.
I also like different endings, like Grow v.3 (the mountain can become a volcano or not), or Grow island with the UFO ending.
RPG is very good also, but it has only one clear direction in which to play, and I think the Grow game is all about different possibilities, that's what makes it hard.

Grow Cube is my favourite as it has just enough options, colourful and it is also like a mini civilisation that you grow which I think is it's appeal.
Grow Island is my second favourite because like grow cube you are building a civilisation and the machine you build is cool and I love the little family and children.
I like Grow RPG third best as it has a clear story to it and you can somewhat loosely associate with the character. And again you build a community/civilisation.
Overall the style of your games is a big appeal, they are friendly, imaginative and simple. I definitely think having more civilisation grow games would be good, maybe one with a Aztec feel.

I love cube but, my favorite (and I know it's not really grow) is Dwarf complete. A continuationtion of Dwarf would be great.
Anyway, I also really liked tower. It reminded me of vanilla only it was a lot more fun and entertaining. RPG was pretty good too but it's not my favorite.
Everything else is pretty good.

#1 is Tower for me. I feel it represents the simplicity and creativity of what GROW is, with good feedback about how the different parts work together.
A close #2 is Ver.1, simply because, even though it wasn't really much of a game simply walking through the binary tree of choices, the various end results were so creative, I enjoyed seeing all of them. Excellent decision to include the undo button after reaching the best ending. It would be great if the other grow games had a way of quickly selecting other orders, and going through a fast-forward of the results after the solution is found.
#3 is RPG for the entertainment value of the results. Plus RPG provided very good feedback to help you understand how the different items affect each other. The only downside is I wish there was a skip animation button, because after seeing the king defeat the dragon for the tenth time, it gets a little boring.

Tower was a really great original idea but it didn't last long enough with only 5 panels.
Have you ever thought about releasing a full game of GROW puzzels? That would be epic!!!

RPG got me hooked, but I think Grow Island is my favourite, especially since you have two endings to solve. I like Grow Tower as well. It's complex yet simple enough that you can enjoy it without getting frustrated. Grow Cube is cute and Ver 1 has lots of different endings so they are both fun as well.
They are all fun and enjoyable, all your games are, but in my opinion the top three are
1)Grow Island
2)Grow RPG
3)Grow Tower

1.Cube(the 1st Grow I played..took ages~but I was super happy when finally completed it)
2.Chronon (took me very long time to complete, but was fun and confusing too..haha)
3.Tontie (very addictive...I'm still stuck on the 20th level...but I never get tired of playing it~)
4.Dwarf complete (very interesting~but I'm still looking forward for the "to be continued...")
5.RPG (very cute, but a little short~)

Hmmm, this is a tricky one. Of the grow games I have two favourites.
I like Grow Island because I found it had a really interesting way that each panel interacting and once solved, it seemed the most logical of the Grow games.
I also like Grow RPG because it was a really clever spin on the grow concept.
I also love Dwarf Complete, but it's more of an adventure game than a Grow game.
Keep making more! I love them all!

Island is a bit too hard for me, but the game is awesome. Cube is match as my brain, so as TOWER , RPG . ver 3 is the first game I play & know this site.
the least-like would be X'mas & nano ver.2 , is not mean they aren't fun , but they couldn't attract me to play the second , or the third time.
I'll be wait for your new game without doubt ! :D

I love all the Grow games and it's hard to say which one is best. I can narrow it down to my three favourites though. Grow Ver 1 has a good method of choosing and I liked the ending with the underground city. Grow tower has a good combination of dificulty(The red herrings) and enjoyment. Grow Cube had a good atmosphere, it was long and it seems to be the most logical as you can figure it out logically. My favoutite would probably be Grow Cube though.

I like Grow ver.2
Maybe it's because one of my favorite anime back when I was a kid was Transformers.
Also Grov ver.1 is my next-to-favorite. I'd love to see it expanded further. Third place would go to ex equo Grow ver.3, and Grow Cube.

I love many of them!
My favourites are Vol. 1 + 3, Cube, Island and RPG. I can't decide between those 5 and neither do I posses a D5 (I got D4, D6, D8, D10 (times two, one with 0-9 and one with 10-90), D12 and D20, my father even has got a D7, but no D5 :/ )

I like Vol. 1 the most, I think, because every choice leads to a "win" of some sort. Although I'd like some more choices, so if you got time you are welcome to add more of them :D

I seriously love all of your grow games, and am a huge fan.
My favourite would have to be RPG, then Cube.
It's just really fun to watch all the scenarios unfold and everytime it's different. The animations are also quite stunning!

Grow Cube has the best music, but Grow Tower and Grow RPG have the most fun and logical connections between the items. In those terms, I think Grow Tower is your best yet!
Grow v.1 is adorable, but it's a very different kind of game.

My favourite is Grow Cube
its the most innovative and well designed, but the again, i love all of them!
The new Grow Tower was very successful and i did not have to do it without any hints or help, some that was good!
And Grow Island i like because there are some great animations withing the game!
My least favourite is Grow RPG, because in my opinion, it was boring...
...but i LOVE all of them

It is a very difficult question to answer, because I really love all of the GROW games.
If I must pick one, and only ONE of the GROW games, I'd pick GROW RPG.
That one not only was very amusing to play: it really felt like an RPG of some sort. Not only you placed the items, the enemy also placed his!
Also, the music in that was was superb.

I don't know about naming one favorite, but RPG, Island, and Cube are my favorites. Though Ver. 3 was the hardest for me since its the most abstract.
I think the best Grow games are ones where the different elements are not obvious at first, but have an internal logic that reveals itself through experimentation. Ver. 3 is the best example of this, but the relation between the tube and the plants in Cube is another one.
I also like it when elements do interesting things if you select them in an incorrect order. For example, on Island, the man's interaction with the forest and the computer without the protection of fences is interesting.
The RPG was fun because it had a real interesting narrative that created its own logic.

The difficulties of the games listed above are about right, (Ver. 3 is too hard....) and most importantly, they are fun to play over-and-over again just to watch the little objects growing to the final scene.
I am looking forward to RPG II and III and IV.....

It is hard to decide! I like to show people Grow Nano 2 (adults)and v1 (kids) to get them hooked on EyezMaze. The proper Grow games are too hard for me! But, I love them all, actually, even though I sometimes cheat so I can see the wonderful endings . . .

RPG is my favorite, followed by Version 3 and Cube. The more complexity the better. RPG shows a lot of knowledge of gaming conventions and is quite clever. You could do similar versions like Grow simulation game, or Grow platformer.
I also like Chronon. Yes, the mechanic is more complicated, but after understanding it that game is more rewarding. It a incredibly unique. My only question with your games is whether you think of a narrative reason why the order of elements is chosen, or if the order is more arbitrary.

Can't decide between Cube and Island. I love your animation/drawing style and those two games are to me the most enjoyable in that regard: Cube is interesting with all that building inside the cube and Island is funny with all the mimicking (how he's brokenhearted or how he gives flowers etc).

Well, actually the fist game I played here is the tower and after I played all the other grow game I still like the tower best.
One thing it is different from the other is that it would generate a new component in the processing. I mean, only if you put the original items in the right order, you could get that small devil item to continue your growing and that is really impressed me.
The other games are also good and hope you could create more interesting games in the future!

I think the two best Grow-games are CUBE and RPG. I like ISLAND a lot also. In these Grows I like that there is some kind of story going on, and they are not so easy. As I like "real" RPGs, Grow RPG is really enjoyable and fun to watch and the story is interesting. CUBE looks good grafically and has also a nice "story".
But the best... Maybe RPG. It's unique style and the fact that I like playing RPGs make that one the best Grow. Second best is CUBE. And Island gets bronze medal. Yeah, the longer and more options there is in a Grow, the better. But that doen't mean the shorter ones, Tower for example are bad, no! I like playing every Grow you have made. I am looking forward to playing your future Grows also!
By the way, have you ever considered making a game for a game console's downloadable gamesections, like WiiWare? That would be awesome! Dwarf Complete was a good game and a game like that, maybe with Grows as some kind of minigames...

i really like grow cube b/c it was the first grow game i played. (and it's really really cute!!!) i really like the new grow tower though too; i think it's my second favorite :D also grow 3 and 2 and grow nano vol. 3 are some i really like too

I definately liked RPG the best, although I think they're all incredible.
Grow Cube is second.
You do really amazing work and should be proud that your creations make other people so happy. I hope someday you release them all on cd-rom so I can buy them and play them off line.

I would have to go with island with rpg, ver3 and cube all tied for second. Island just seems to have an extra little "something" to it (maybe its the aliens >.>) and while cube rpg and ver3 are amazing, they're not UBER EPICNESS OF +1 ANTI-NOOB. Tower on the other hand is entertaining but not as awesome and the nanos (including christmas) are more "cute" than anything. I also have to mention that ver2 just wasn't as fun as the others, and seems to lack your usual flair. One last thing, I dont really regard ver1 as a grow game due to the different feel and play style.

Well when I first got here GROW [Cube] wasn't even out yet so I think what had kept me here was [RPG] and once [Cube] did come out I knew for sure that I had to stay.
So I guess my favorite would be either [RPG] or [Cube]though I can't really pick a favorite as I have enjoyed ever game you have made.

Grow island had the most amazing graphics, and many little things made it cute, the story love, the alternate ending, things reacted well, there was a good feeling about restart it again and again. Overall, I think its the best grow.

Personally, it is an extremely close call between the first 3 of them, I love ALL of the ones I listed and I sincerely hope that you will continue to make more in the series, as for me, it is a timeless classic that I can enjoy over and over again.

RPG is realy a masterpiece. It plays with elements of rpg we are all used to.
But I didn't played all of them, and there are some that I began playng that also looked reaaaaaly good, the one that go to the sky and the other that time travel.

I have been visiting this site for years! I got hooked on Vanilla but quickly became fascinated by the Grow series. Cube is absolutely awesome, but I think island may have taken over in my favs? I like Grow RPG a lot too! You are very talented, I love the quirky avenues the levels progress to - extremely inventive!!!
One thing I'd love is if there was some way the Vanilla window would scroll up with the progression of the shrubs...I know, scrolling the window up is part of the crazy fun, but I want to get to the top :D(
Can't wait to see more games and perhaps see them get picked up and put into a console format???

I likeall of your grow games (and other games). It is very hard for me to pick a favourite. However, if I have to pick a favourite, it is a close thing between Grow ver. 3 and Grow Island, but in the end I will pick Grow ver. 3 as my favourite.
I do have a very clear Grow game that I like less than the others: Grow RPG.
Other than that, I like all the Grow games very much.

I like the grow cube the most.
Overally, I like chronon the most out of all the games. The idea of Chronon is unique. It took me weeks to figure out how to play. Great job!! Dwaef Complete is also excellent because of its rich tricks and time-consuming.

Every Grow game is a great experience. Island and Cube specially. But I must honor you for the wonderful game Chronon. I had to cheat, but even in cheating, it was a fantastic experience. It is different from everything I´ve seen!

I like the RPG style,the drag&drop grow style,having an opponent that use the rules of grow,and the fact that you know your objective and that there's a logic behind everything.
2.Grow V1
Because it's different:there are many endings and not a true best ending (the complete ending is not the best,but it end up being a good thing)
3.Grow Cube
Hmm it's a heartfelt (is it the right way to say that :/ ) choice,no real explanation here.Maybe for the colors or the graphics or the way things happen...no I can't explain in a clear way.

All the grows were good, but I like the RPG the best. The island have a special ending. And the cube turned in to a monster. The most unbeliveable was the grow tower, the finish point was so high, but I still finished it!

I like grow cube because there are so many different rewards. I particularly like feeling that I am building something, or helping to build something. Playing this game is like working in a science laboratory and coming up with different inventions.
Grow RPG is fun because it reminds me of the early search and find games, and discovery is always fun, but the rewards in cube is like getting praise for your efforts.
Overall I really like your games and am happy that you like to share them with people. I would give you a hug if I were in Japan.

I love all those grows so it's hard to say which one is THE BEST
Choosing one... maybe 'island' is my concerning the best because i played it several times to win and the Alien Ending is extremely out of the box and sooooo cute!! (I've counted that there were 15 aliens jumping--rediculous right?^^)

I will be honest I enjoyed all the grow games, and picking a favorite is hard.
Grow Cube is probably my favorite, very entertaining and fun to solve. Grow Island was also very cool. Grow tower is probably my third favorite, followed closely by Grow RPG.
I think a larger than 12 item grow should be created, as well as many smaller ones. the added component of a large puzzle are great, however I must admit the greater interactivity between parts afforded by the others is cooler. I would love to see a massive deeply interdependent grow. but all are great.

I played all the games u released here and CUBE is the one I enjoyed most. I like it better than RPG because in RPG most of the times u just need some more HP or DEF to win so u know u missed some steps.
I just played the tower and it was fun too. Island was pretty interesting too.

I've played all of them, and my two favorites are defintely Cube and RPG. They're all good, I absolutely LOVE your games, but I must have replayed Cube 50 times just because I loved it so much. And I love the originality of RPG.

I think the best grows are the Grow island and the grow cube, I love'em a lot and I would like to see another Grow island including more careers as Laws, Economy, etc. I guess it'd be interesting to know haow the different ideas and knowledges. Congratulatios for your excellent games and I hope you create more grow games 'cause they have a lot of creativity.

Many thanks for your games. They are all a delight.
It's hard to decide, but my personal favourite is Grow RPG. It gave me the biggest feeling of satisfaction when I finished it. I wished there were more actual RPG-like elements, just as an extension to the game mechanics.
I also enjoy playing Grow v1 every now and then, enjoying the many different endings. Island and Cube are nice, too (Island is the hardest, IMHO).
I didn't like Grow v2 (too abstract) and Grow Tower feels incomplete. There is simply too much happening in the end.
While you asked about Grow, I'd also like to mention Dwarf and Chronon, which are just as great. I'd say Dwarf is the best game you did, with Grow RPG second.

I like Grow Island the best, I haven't been to this site in a while, I came because I heard about Grow Tower, I am a HUGE fan of the series, the only 2 I didn't care for as much were the first 2 Nano ones (0 and 1), as they didn't really have much to do with the series. Grow Cube would be my second favourite, and RPG would be my 3rd, V3 would be my 4th, Tower my 5th, V2 my 6th, Nano V2 my 7th (mostly because it was really funny) and V1 for 8th. I forget what Xmas and Nano V3 are like so I won't put them in, actually, I'm gonna go play those 2 now!

It is hard to say as they are all rather fantastic. I would put it as a tie between GROW CUBE and GROW VER.1 I enjoyed the great variety of endings in Grow Ver.1 but the style in Grow Cube was fantastic.

I would like to know about a type of grow game i played some years ago, it was about a pesant... i think... who escapes from a corrupt king on a boat whilst being chased by the kings men, you have to put in the scenery and such to help him escape, in a grow style, and then you move on to a beach where you have to grow your defenses... Can anyone tell me the name of this one? I would like to play it again... I couldn't complete it then and i want to do it now.

Well i really think TOWER is the best now... after i beat it hehe. Was way too dificult! I love that! (ver.3 had way more panels but was a lot more naturalor obvious than tower, because tower had so many more interactions, wich act as a perfect disguise to the true answer... misguiding you to other paths.....unless you have the look to do it on the first time... in my case was like the 12th or so hehe)
Then this is my order: tower, (second i would put the amazing Galves Adventure... but thats no grow; and third the Darf Complete... the same here), RPG (love the way u have to get the treasures and wizards to work), cube, ver.1, ver.3, nano vol.3, nano vol.2, vol.2+X-mas+island (island was WAY too easy to figure out entirely...), and last nano vol.1 (fun and interesting but lacks the death paths wich makes the real challenge).
Thanks again for your lovely games. I will get games like these ones to all my sons when i start having!! hehe.

CUBE is my favorite because it is the most unpredictable. I like it when I have no idea how to start.
Another one of my favorites is VER 1. I loved all of the different possible outcomes (especially the big starry bubble). I dont like the small creature that flies and has the two tiny horns on its head.
You should makes some tshirts. Id probably buy one.

Personally, I like Island the best because I managed to find the alternate ending you were talking about, but before that, I liked RPG and Version 1 on equal levels because of the high amount of different outcomes

Well, I really like all the grow games. I spend a lot of time playing them. I played them all and my favorite is grow cube. I think it's not a obviously game and not a non-sense game either.

I think the absolute best one was the Grow CUBE. It was cute as heck, and I loved it. RPG is a close second, and I can't wait for more like it. TOWER is a third, cause it's funny and I could actually get it.
ISLAND, sadly, gets fourth place, because it was darn confusing, and when I finally found someone who posted the answer, I watched it unfolding, and I thought "This is not clear at all..." The answer was almost completely different from what I thought it would be. ;) But that's the logical part of me speaking.
All in all, LOVE the Grow Games, LOVE this site, and I am SO sorry I was not on to leave a get well post! You do to much for us!

I do think ALL GROW are smaller or bigger masterpieces! By now it's a long time I played all the others and only today I played the Tower, another GREAT game!
I remember that one of my favoutite was the Island! But for one reason or another I should mention all of them!
I red a comment asking to make a CD with the Grow games. I would buy it immediately! I was very sad when I read about Grow 3 :((((
I hate the idea of possibly losing any of them... I'd like my grandchildren were able to play them as well! :)))

Cube is the first one I found that lead me to all of these, and it was really fun watching the dirt cube turn to life. I'd love to see a new Grow Cube game if you guys ever make one.
Grow Island may have just been for a school program, but it's so adorable to watch it play out! And really interesting, trying to figure out what things work together =)

I can't decide between Grow RPG and Grow Island. Grow Island was my very first Grow game, so without it, I wouldn't be hooked on the rest of the Grow games. Plus, it's incredibly fun. x) But Grow RPG just seemed different from the others, and it's also really, really fun! And now I'm thinking that Grow Nano v3 is my favorite. x_x Ugh, I just love them all! xD

I like GROW ver.3 for several reasons:
One, because it was the game that got me hooked on GROW in the first place.
Two, it's the most random one.
And three, I got it finished when everyone else was like

1. Grow Island
-a little bit more complicated than grow cube, but the alternate endings were nice. I loved the little people and how i was creating their 'world'. I liked how the animations were not as slow as the Grow cube animations, so I wouldn't have to wait every time if I restarted the game a bunch!
2. Grow Cube
-Superb. It was simple, but at the same time it was hard. The water changing ending was suprising and satisfying, which made me want to continue to find the real ending. I enjoyed watching how the little people scurried around and interacted with the environment, and would like to see more of that type of thing!
3. Nano Vol. 3
-so cute! I liked the wife the best :) Animations were excellent and I even felt sorry for the daddy being sick! I would also LOVE to see more nanos like this, but in different situations!
THANK YOU so much for the entertaining and beautiful games! They have their own style and a unique idea behind them. I really hope you make more, and I will ALWAYS look forward to a new one.

I liked the island best of all because it was so detailed, and all the causes and effects seemed real to me. It's cute the way other ones like Cube evolve suddenly and surprisingly, and it doesn't seem as real but is still very adorable, but the story was so cute-- especially the "special happy ending".... sooo happyyyyyy! Very well done. I spend a long time playing it and never got tired of it. Island is best!!

I think the best combination of fun and challenge was Grow Cube.
Grow RPG was a lot of fun, but it was also extremely easy. Grow Version 3 was great for challenge, but it wasn't quite as fun as Grow Cube.

for me it's grow cube because it's all about nature, but i didn't like the end where there was all the poison, although nano v.3 was cool and easy.

my favprite is grow valley. my second is grow island. and last but not least my third is grow cube. the secret ending a are so cool. i nearly fell of my chair for the grow valley one, it was hilarios and awsome. cant wait for the new grow game!!

Grow Cannon was my first grow game, but my favourite Grow game is Grow Nano 3. The one where the Onky gets sick. I love it so much because I found it so adorable! My favourite Eyezmaze game of all time, though, is definitely Chronon.

Fun Facts: My first grow game was grow island.
Grow ver 1 was the only game I beat on the first try without cheating. -because some games are very difficult.-
